FRRC Bail Fund

Help Floridians Jailed for Voting

FRRC passed Amendment 4 in 2018 so that people with past convictions could vote. The State of Florida is responsible for developing and implementing a system that assesses a voter's qualifications and eligibility. Now in stark contrast to the voters’ will in passing Amendment 4, the State of Florida is not honoring their responsibility and arresting returning citizens for voting even though the State of Florida issued them voter IDs. Many returning citizens cannot afford bail and are being forced to accept plea deals. Help returning citizens pay bail and fight their case from a place of freedom by donating here:

Funds raised for the FRRC Bail Fund will be prioritized to pay bail for people charged in connection with registering to vote and voting in the state of Florida. If not all the funds raised are needed for bail, FRRC will redirect to its Legal Defense Fund to cover legal defense for returning citizen voters in Florida.
